Workday Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator Contract 40 hours weekly Hybrid 3 Days onsite 2 Days WFH 6-12+ months The Workday Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday Learning. This role works collaboratively across HR and business units to ensure the effective delivery of training content, compliance requirements, and reporting. The LMS Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all Workday Learning activities.¿ This role requires prior Workday LMS Administrator experience, will be a quick learner and proactive problem solver. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide support for the learning management system ¿ Managing course configuration and setup. ¿ Generating and distributing reports. ¿ Completing required system and course audits. ¿ Partnering across the organization to manage regulatory compliance. ¿ Troubleshooting basic system and user issues. ¿ Maintaining the learning experience. ¿ Providing subject matter expertise for the overall administration of the system. System Management and Configuration ¿ Administer and configure the Workday Learning environment to support organizational learning strategies and compliance needs. ¿ Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to ensure data integrity between Workday HCM and Workday Learning (e.g., supervisory orgs, job profiles, locations). ¿ Support learning content providers with integrations such as LinkedIn Learning. ¿ Coordinate with Workday support and Client teams to test, troubleshoot, and validate Workday releases and sandbox changes related to learning. ¿ Participate in Workday Community forums, user groups, and product roadmap discussions to align with for organizational goals. Content Management ¿ Upload, test, and deploy eLearning content (SCORM/xAPI), videos, PDFs, and instructor-led training sessions ¿ Design and assign Learning Campaigns (engagements), Learning Paths, and Programs to support employee development and regulatory compliance. ¿ Configure learning prerequisites, eligibility rules, deadlines, and auto-assignments. ¿ Maintain version control and ensure outdated learning content is archived or updated to reflect current policies and procedures Ensure learning compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508) and organizational data security policies. ¿ Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, L&D, and Compliance SMEs to align learning strategy with business priorities. ¿ Stay up-to-date on Workday Learning enhancements, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve the learning platform. ¿ Set up and manage instructor led training sessions, including venues, instructors, waitlists, rosters, and attendance tracking. Data Reporting ¿ Generate and customize reports using Workday Report Writer and Dashboards to track completions, overdue assignments, and engagement. ¿ Monitor compliance training completion and escalate overdue training, and automated Workday notifications or campaigns to managers. User Support ¿ Manage ticket system, provide support for learners, managers, and administrators experiencing access or navigation issues. ¿ Provide training and documentation to content creators, facilitators, and HR partners on how to use Workday Learning features effectively. Technical Skills ¿ Proficiency with Workday Learning module configuration. ¿ Reporting skills using Workdays reporting tools. ¿ Knowledge of data security and understanding of learner configuration Proficiency with Microsoft suite including PowerPoint and Excel. ¿ Knowledge of SharePoint and user group access. Skills ¿ Organizational and project management skills. ¿ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams. ¿ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ¿ Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset. Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Education, or related field. Experience 3+ years of experience administering Workday LMS. Experience with SCORM/AICC standards and content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise 360+) is a plus.
