Job Description: $75,000 to $80,000 per year Under general direction this position leads projects that help units deliver results improve efficiency and quality reduce operating costs and provides an excellent customer experience. Works closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, direct, organize and execute against project requirements. Identifies and acquires necessary resources and coordinates efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes in accordance with sponsoring source’s expectations. Essential Duties: Plans, develops, implements and manages a project team through complete task definition and work requirements, identification, and assignments. Works closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, budget and outcomes. Identifies critical resource expertise and targets appropriate internal and external sources to ensure optimal outcomes. Establishes and continually monitors and manages project expectations with team. Assigns tasks and identifies issues for resolution to ensure optimal team effectiveness. Prepares and maintains all project status reports and schedules. Tracks milestones and deliverables, critical paths and dependencies. Resets expectations as needed in consideration of project progress and outcomes. Responds to all inquiries regarding project status. Prepares and responds to all regulatory reporting and filings to ensure compliance. Manages, coaches and supervises all project team members, both internal and contracted, to ensure optimal outcomes. Builds, develops and maintains relationships vital to project success. Works collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership and other related staff to define and identify all required project infrastructure including but not limited to processes, space, building, and reconfiguration of facilities, equipment, technology, and infrastructure to ensure timely availability for successful launch and ongoing project operations. Prepares all post-project reports, budget allocations and summaries and filings to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties. Desired Qualifications: Experience developing strategies and technical specifications for projects. Ability to manage complex projects. Ability to clarify roles and responsibilities to ensure understanding of expectations and take action to mitigate conflict. Evidence of being certified Project Management Professional. Evidence of being certified Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt. Knowledge of data analysis practices, methods, tools and software. Knowledge of standard project management and charge management practices. Knowledge of process improvement tools and methods. Skill in coordinating and prioritizing work and activities. Skill in problem analysis, problem solutioning, and decision-making. Experience making effective presentations in front of large groups. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Evidence of effective verbal and written communication. Experience using Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Ability to lead by example in communication, participating and encouraging support of their institutional programs. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees. Ability to work independently as well as within a complex structured team environment. Ability to prepare concise, yet detailed documents, proposals, reports and related materials. Ability to apply principles, techniques and methods of teamwork, compromise and collaboration to produce desired outcomes. Ability to model excellent customer service behaviors, demonstrating responsiveness to customers, active engagement in work efforts, resourcefulness, and flexibility. Ability to stimulate charges in individual, institutional and corporate behaviors to create a more sustainable environment. Working Environment: Activities are primarily performed in a regular climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop and laptop computers. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
