Dental Assistant Instructor (Part Time) at Charter College, Pasco, WA. The college seeks talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Dental Assistant instructors to teach in the evenings in a blended course environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each course with a syllabus consistent with course descriptions.
• Inspire students to exhibit appropriate conduct in the workplace.
• Acquire feedback to determine student understanding of each course segment.
• Maintain academic standards and evaluate students' progress; share evaluations promptly.
• Be available to students with concerns; review student evaluations of instruction.
• Play an integral role in student retention efforts; participate in official college functions; serve on faculty committees.
• Keep official transcripts of formal studies on file; enroll in professional growth programs.

Qualifications

• Current Certification in Dental Assisting AND Registered Dental Assistant.
• Two (2) years of experience in the field.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in a blended teaching environment is preferred but not required.

Compensation

• Part-Time; Pay By Course.
• Instruction available day or evening; standard evening shift is 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Schedule

• Evening shift; 4-hour blocks.

Work Location

Pasco, WA 99301; in-person position. Relocation/commute required.

Experience
