Med/Surg Registered Nurse Jobs – Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Opportunity in Pasco, Washington

Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Location: Pasco, WA 99301 – Tri-Cities area, Washington healthcare jobs with direct flights to major U.S. cities
• Setting: Acute/Inpatient Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical Unit
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (August 11, 2025 – November 10, 2025)
• Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Unit Size: 10 beds
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Fri/Sat nights)
• Float Requirement: Occasional float to Med/Surg unit as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
• Rehabilitation nursing experience and GG scoring documentation preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Experience caring for adult, geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury patients
• Proficient with Meditech EHR and Omnicell equipment
• Scrub color: Any

Med/Surg Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in acute/inpatient rehabilitation and medical-surgical settings
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, including rehabilitation scoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to Med/Surg unit as needed to support hospital staffing needs
• Maintain accurate records using Meditech EHR
• Uphold safety and infection control standards in all nursing activities
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
