Responsibilities

• Lead the picking and packing team dedicated to projects to satisfy and complete the picking and packing requirements for the product lines.
• Pick materials, components and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping.
• Prepare component kits for production and fill orders; support receiving operations with putaway processes and knowledge of ERP SAP.
• Work with the warehouse team to perform cycle counts and review the packing process for projects in the valve business.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and work with staff and warehouse operations to implement changes; manage daily execution metrics under the project area on picking and packing and collaborate with the warehouse manager to achieve daily KPIs.
• Train new team members on warehouse operations and SAP knowledge; support special projects as assigned by business execution.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; operate a forklift during loading or unloading as required.

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years related experience.

Working arrangements

• 1st shift – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (flexible working patterns available).
