Overview

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for veterans, families, visitors, and staff entering the care center. This role provides a welcoming, professional presence while supporting administrative operations through clerical tasks, communication management, and coordination of front office activities. The receptionist helps ensure the smooth flow of information within the facility and promotes the organization’s mission to serve veterans with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for veterans, families, visitors, and staff entering the care center.
  • Provide a welcoming, professional presence and support administrative operations through clerical tasks and communication management.
  • Coordinate front office activities to promote smooth information flow within the facility.
  • Support the organization’s mission to serve veterans with dignity and respect.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a front desk receptionist a plus
  • Previous experience working in a Long-term Care / SNF setting a plus

Serves in the Manager on duty rotation. Nursing Leadership Only: Will be required to work as charge nurse when staffing challenges and emergencies present
