Overview

The Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of the front end. You may be the first, last, or only associate our members interact with, so smiling, greeting, and thanking each member is important. You will run registers and support members through the self-checkout experience in a fast-paced environment, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate registers and assist members with purchases, payments, and the self-checkout experience.
• Scan items, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answer member questions, and locate merchandise as needed.
• Promote the company’s products and services and support member self-service technology.
• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure fast, accurate service and a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail, including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Ability to stand for long periods and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on member satisfaction.
