The Maintenance & Grounds position at DELLA Auto Group in Plattsburgh, New York is a part-time, hourly position within the auto industry. This individual contributor role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the dealership's facilities and grounds.

Job Summary: This includes performing basic maintenance tasks, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and employees, and assisting with special projects as needed.

Compensation: We offer a competitive hourly wage. The position can pay range is $300-$700 weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's interior and exterior areas, including the showroom, offices, service areas, and parking lot.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues.
• Keep the grounds and landscaping looking presentable, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and removing snow and ice.
• Conduct basic repairs and maintenance on equipment and machinery, such as pressure washers and lawn mowers.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies, notifying management when replacements are needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any safety concerns or accidents to management.
• Assist with special projects and events, such as car shows or community events, as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in facility maintenance and/or groundskeeping.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
• Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
