The Grounds Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of outdoor areas such as walkways, parking lots, lawns, gardens, and recreational spaces. This role includes routine cleaning, minor landscaping, and general upkeep to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain outdoor grounds including sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and common areas.
• Remove trash, debris, and litter from grounds and properly dispose of waste.
• Sweep, pressure wash, and hose down outdoor surfaces as needed.
• Mow lawns, trim shrubs, pull weeds, and perform minor landscaping tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor furniture, benches, and fixtures.
• Report safety hazards, damages, or needed repairs to supervisors promptly.
• Operate basic maintenance equipment such as blowers, mowers, and hand tools.
• Assist with snow removal or seasonal maintenance when necessary.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or general maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting for extended periods.
