Location: Belmont Abbey College

We are hiring immediately for a part time DISHWASHER position.

Location: Belmont Abbey College - 100 Belmont Mount Holly Road, Belmont, NC 28012. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part time; Sunday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Friday, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $10.50 per hour to $12.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using appropriate equipment. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain appropriate temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles disposal; steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning and dishwashing experience is preferred.
• Willing to train.
