Location: Bentonville, AR — Part-time, up to 19 hours/week at Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness.

Role: Lifeguard – Bentonville, AR

Salary: Compensation: $14 - $18/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Assist with facility needs such as folding towels, cleaning, filling water machines, and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
• Dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); working knowledge of member management systems, databases, and tools.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including pre-employment drug test.
