Overview

Position: Cybersecurity Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business via cold calling, networking, referrals, events, and digital outreach
  • Conduct discovery meetings via phone and Zoom to deeply understand prospects\' IT and cybersecurity challenges
  • Educate decision-makers on the value of Sagacent’s services and build tailored proposals that prioritize outcomes over price
  • Maintain consistent pipeline activity using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) to track, follow up, and close business
  • Grow your customer base by nurturing relationships and driving referrals
  • Contribute to the company\'s expansion by meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets and promoting Sagacent’s thought leadership in cybersecurity

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong prospecting and networking capabilities
  • Mastery in questioning and active listening to uncover client pain points
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to sell over the phone and via Zoom
  • Comfortable selling intangible, value-based services

Experience

  • 3–5 years of successful sales experience (preferably B2B)
  • History of success in commission-based and cold calling sales roles
  • Experience selling professional services or technology solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a territory through referrals and relationship-building
  • Previous use of CRM tools (HubSpot a plus)
  • Thrived in a fast-moving, small-company environment
