Front Office Administrative Assistant
Spring View Dental Care is looking for a Business Assistant to join our team.
The role supports a collaborative, welcoming, and growth‑oriented office environment. This is a full‑time position: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; long weekends. Competitive pay based on experience. Location: 4955 S National Ave, Unit A, Springfield, Missouri 65810.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a positive first impression.
- Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records; schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
- File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits, and explanation of coverage.
- Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
- Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
- Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
Experience and Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a dental or medical setting; ability to train with no experience required.
- 1+ year of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
- Dentrix or other dental software experience.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
- Strong teamwork, kindness, adaptability, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Access to minimum PHI necessary for job functions with regular HIPAA training and data safeguards as required by the role.

Physical Requirements
