Job Overview:

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high guest and staff satisfaction while assisting with daily venue operations, including:

  • Ensuring high-quality products meet specifications
  • Conducting daily shift meetings
  • Training new staff members
  • Motivating, developing, coaching, and counseling staff
  • Visiting all tables during meals to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Managing inventory and labor controls
  • Reporting staff issues to management
  • Handling guest checks and discounts when applicable
  • Maintaining service quality, sanitation, and training standards
  • Overseeing opening and closing responsibilities
  • Communicating effectively with guests and staff
  • Adhering to responsible alcohol service policies
  • Following safety and sanitation practices
  • Complying with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Skills/Experience:

  • 1-2 years of restaurant experience in a high-volume environment
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Health permit/food safety and alcohol awareness certifications (proof required prior to employment)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Standing, walking, reaching for extended periods
  • Ability to lift loads over 35 pounds
  • Clear communication in English
  • Normal hearing and vision capabilities

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to weather and temperature changes
  • Moderate to high noise levels
  • Narrow aisles, potential hazards
  • Frequent hand washing or glove use

Language Skills:

  • Ability to interpret safety and operational documents
  • Effective verbal communication skills

Mathematical Skills:

  • Basic arithmetic skills for measuring and calculating

Salary:

$25.00 per hour
