Overview

Join to apply for the DC Forklift Operator - Inbound role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Operate fork trucks in a safe, efficient, and effective manner while unloading trucks and moving freight within the DC.

Responsibilities

• Move incoming merchandise from truck to dock, and dock to correct stocking areas.
• Stock all rack merchandise and arrange rack surplus from zones in the appropriate manner.
• Set down rack surplus for zones so orders can be filled and replenishments can be made to stocking locations.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck.
• Replenish outbound totes as needed, where applicable.
• Assist with maintaining mezzanine zones.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• Train new team members as assigned, ensuring training is conducted on schedule with complete documentation; explain job duties and changes to promotes within the department.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, Experience

• Required: Must work well in a team environment; operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.
• Desired: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); experience operating various types of power equipment; advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations; advanced computer skills; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
