Overview

We are hiring a Dental Hygienist for a full-time role at Star Dental Partners with Collier Hills Dental in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a patient-centered, small-practice environment with collaborative clinical, business and operations professionals and flexible hours. New Hygienist grads are welcome to apply.

Full-Time Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM; Tuesday 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM; Thursday 6:45 AM – 2:00 PM; Friday (once per month) 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
• Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and care
• Reviewing patient history and charting
• Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Documents area of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Support the dentist with procedures as needed
• Builds strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Georgia
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Minimum 1+ years of RDH clinical experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
• Knowledgeable about periodontal health and comfortable with patient education
• Experience with dental practice software
• Team player who is open, positive and flexible
