Job Details

• Job Title: Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing
• Location: Fayetteville, NC 28311
• Employment Type: Travel contract
• Unit: Oncology
• Facility Type: Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital
• Shift: Day 5x7.5-Hour (08:00 - 17:00), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (option to extend)
• Guaranteed Hours: All contracted hours guaranteed after two call-offs per 13-week assignment
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920 - $1970

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (oncology nursing experience preferred)
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to pass compliance modules and background check
• Must be able to float within hospital or sister campus as needed
• Locals not accepted within 50 miles of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to oncology patients, including those undergoing bone marrow transplants and radiation therapy
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Educate and support oncology patients and their families throughout the treatment process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, physician assistants, dietitians, and other clinical support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Participate in daily treatment scheduling and charge capture
