This company is a top player in the food manufacturing industry, specializing in custom-developed food solutions for some of the world’s leading retail, foodservice, and healthcare product manufacturers. They are seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Maintenance Lead to guide the maintenance team and ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct maintenance personnel and activities on 3rd shift.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing work.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other mechanics on daily activities and special projects.
• Troubleshoot and determine root cause of equipment malfunctions, utilizing PLC programs and other diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and resolve production line equipment issues, determining corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on maintenance activities, repairs, and PMs.
• Supervise and direct service contractors in the plant.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and safety procedures at all times.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and oversee plant lockdown for weekends as required.

3rd Shift (Overnight)

Pay

$24 – $37 per hour

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; AS/BS degree or technical certificate a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Supervisory or lead background required.
• Strong mechanical skills (welding, grinding, cutting) and electrical skills (PLC calibration, weighing systems, wiring).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
