Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a background in office management or bookkeeping is a plus. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise, team management, and financial oversight to support our organizational goals.
Duties
- Manage office operations, including scheduling, clerical tasks, and administrative support.
- Oversee event planning and coordination for company functions and meetings.
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage procurement processes to ensure timely supply of office resources. B2B and DtC
- Handle human resources functions, including employee training & development.
- Implement effective schedule management practices to optimize team productivity.
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to important documents.
- Manage front desk operations, including handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and phone etiquette.
- Support calendar management for executives and team members to ensure efficient use of time.
Experience
- Proven experience in office management or a related administrative role is essential.
- Familiarity with footwear or direct Customer Service management is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on interpersonal relations.
- Experience in supervising teams and fostering a collaborative work environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping practices and budget management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft platforms. Bonus if including Business Central.
