All About Food & Beverage

The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience for our guests by maintaining product freshness, stock levels, accurate pricing, and signage. They focus on operations, process, and efficiency, leading food and beverage areas including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, and promotional signing.

Skills and Experience

• Provide a consistent Starbucks experience by managing food quality and freshness.
• Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.

Typical Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, prioritizing guest needs.
• Maintain Food & Beverage standards and execute processes like replenishment, inventory, cleaning, and signing.
• Support the Drive Up process for digital orders.
• Create a welcoming environment and engage with guests.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and food according to recipes.
• Adhere to food safety and cleanliness protocols.
• Manage inventory and assist with sampling and promotions.
• Resolve guest questions and provide excellent service.
• Complete required training and certifications.
• Work safely, report hazards, and follow safety policies.
• Support other guest services like back-up cashier and order pickup.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Enjoy interacting with people and helping others.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, active environment requiring teamwork and flexibility.
• Be open to flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Have a welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
