Senior Marketing & Communications Executive

The Senior Marketing & Communications Executive plays a key role in shaping how the Club communicates — across print, digital, and social channels — to strengthen engagement with Members and reinforce the Club’s standing as a trusted and forward-looking institution. The role demands a balance of creativity, precision, and initiative. You will drive editorial planning, social media strategy, and campaign execution, ensuring that every piece of communication reflects the Club’s tone, standards, and identity. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: Drive integrated communications by collaborating with departments (F&B, Events, Sports & Recreation, Membership, Finance, Front Office, Library, etc.) to craft stories and campaigns that connect Members with the Club’s programmes, people, and heritage. Lead editorial planning and publication of The Tanglin Club Magazine — overseeing content development, editorial direction, advertising partnerships, production schedules, and distribution to ensure a timely, engaging, and polished publication. Shape the Club’s visual storytelling by partnering with the Graphics team to ensure cohesive, brand-aligned creative across print, digital, and environmental touchpoints. Craft and refine content for all channels — including the bimonthly magazine, eDMs, digital signage, menus, posters, and social media — maintaining clarity, accuracy, and tone consistency. Oversee the Club’s digital voice, developing and managing social media calendars, campaigns, and community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and Telegram. Steward the website presence by curating timely, relevant content updates that enhance the member experience and showcase Club initiatives. Develop and manage advertising relationships, securing partnerships, tracking deliverables, and ensuring sound P&L reporting for the magazine’s advertising performance. Leverage insights and feedback, conducting member surveys and analysing responses to inform communication strategies and content planning. Support strategic communications initiatives under the Assistant Director, Corporate Communications, including internal campaigns, major events, and brand-building projects. Contribute to governance and follow-through, serving as Secretary for Sub-Committee meetings and ensuring key actions are documented, communicated, and completed. Job Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or editorial roles, preferably within lifestyle, hospitality, or membership-based organisations. Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills across print and digital formats. Familiarity with design principles, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and social media analytics. Proficiency in social media management and email marketing platforms. Content creation, photography, or video editing skills will be a strong advantage. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines with attention to detail and brand alignment. A keen eye for design, strong writing ability, and proven content creation skills will be a distinct advantage.
