$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Role Summary
We are hiring a seasoned finance and accounting leader to oversee the financial operations and investor reporting for the firm's credit investment platform. This role will be responsible for managing the financial infrastructure of the credit funds, including maintaining accurate records, coordinating quarterly and annual reporting cycles, leading audit processes, and managing third-party service providers. The individual will also contribute to the platform's strategic expansion by advising senior leadership on operational enhancements and new product development. Anticipated Responsibilities
Fund Accounting
Direct all financial reporting activities for the credit investment vehicles. Supervise the fund administrator and foster a collaborative, control-oriented relationship. Lead the execution and review of annual audits for the credit funds. Evaluate financial statements, investor allocations, capital accounts, and performance metrics prepared by internal staff or external administrators. Oversee the issuance of capital calls and distributions; validate waterfall models and allocation methodologies. Coordinate with legal, tax, and corporate teams to ensure adherence to fund agreements and internal governance standards. Partner with the valuation team to support quarterly asset valuation processes. Assist investment and capital markets teams with structuring fund-level financing and monitoring covenant compliance. Collaborate with tax advisors on investor-level reporting and entity structuring for fund investments. Investor Relations & Strategic Growth
Work alongside the investor relations team to develop marketing collateral, presentations, and other external communications. Review and refine investor materials in partnership with legal, compliance, and valuation teams to ensure accuracy and transparency. Support new fund initiatives by advising on structural design, financial modeling, and term sheet development; participate in discussions with legal counsel and placement agents. Serve as a senior point of contact for investor inquiries and communications. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation preferred or in progress. Background in public/private accounting or audit, ideally with Big 4 experience. Minimum of 12 years in investment management, with deep expertise in private credit, leveraged lending, or structured finance (e.g., CLOs, ABS). Experience with regulatory reporting under the Investment Company Act of 1940 (e.g., Form 10-K/Q) is a plus. Seniority level
