Controller

to oversee the financial reporting, accounting, and operational functions of our BDC platform. This individual will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information, supporting regulatory filings, and partnering with senior management to drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and controls for BDC funds and related entities. Lead quarterly and annual reporting, including SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and earnings releases. Manage valuation processes in coordination with investment and valuation committees. Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory requirements. Partner with treasury, tax, legal, and operations teams on cross-functional initiatives. Oversee service provider relationships, including fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors. Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and a culture of excellence. Support strategic projects, including new product launches, system implementations, and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in asset management or public accounting serving BDC, private credit, or alternative investment clients. Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and investment company accounting. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
