Our client is seeking a US-based
Controller
to join their team. This is a
full-time / permanent
opportunity with a direct client of Aprio. Industry:
Tech / SaaS Location:
100% Remote (Must be US-based in PST or MST time zone) Role:
Controller Key Responsibilities: Lead consolidated month- and year-end close across all entities, ensuring accurate financial statements and reconciliations Oversee intercompany activity, FX impacts, and multi-entity consolidations Establish and enforce consistent accounting policies and maintain audit-ready documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and international reporting standards Deliver timely consolidated reporting and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts Prepare management and board-level materials with a global lens Analyze financial performance across entities to identify risks, trends, and opportunities Monitor global cash flow, working capital, and liquidity needs Manage banking relationships, treasury policies, and FX exposure Safeguard compliance with internal risk and treasury requirements Provide actionable financial insights to the CFO and executive team Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across currencies and geographies Strengthen internal controls and protect company assets across international operations Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level responsibilities CPA preferred Proven experience managing global consolidations and FX transactions Background working across international entities (U.S./Australia experience highly valued) Strong SaaS finance knowledge, including revenue recognition and KPI analysis Audit preparation and management experience Hands-on experience with accounting systems; Xero/Maxio a plus MUST HAVE: Experience working in a start-up SaaS company A 'builder' mentality Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
