Position Summary:

Saint Peter's University, a Jesuit and Hispanic-Serving Institution, seeks a Clinical Coordinator to support its growing undergraduate nursing programs. This position serves a dual function: overseeing clinical placement operations for the BSN program and teaching undergraduate nursing courses. The Clinical Coordinator ensures effective and compliant clinical experiences for students and helps maintain and expand clinical partnerships to support programmatic growth and student success.

Primary Responsibilities: Manage clinical placements for undergraduate nursing students in collaboration with faculty and external clinical partners Secure and maintain clinical site affiliation agreements and preceptor assignments Develop and distribute clinical schedules; communicate placement updates with students, faculty, and clinical agencies Organize clinical schedules, site visits, and orientation for students and preceptors. Serve as the primary liaison to clinical partners, ensuring strong professional relationships and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards Monitor and enforce student clinical clearance, including background checks, immunizations, and trainings Track and update documentation using compliance systems such as Verified Credentials Assist with onboarding of clinical faculty and coordination of orientation sessions Participate in site visits and clinical evaluations as needed Teach undergraduate nursing courses per semester within the BSN curriculum Develop syllabi and course materials in alignment with program learning outcomes Provide academic support and advisement to students Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum review, and departmental initiatives Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Qualifications

Qualification Standards:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN license in New Jersey

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)

• At least two years of experience in clinical education, placement coordination, or nursing instruction

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and student compliance systems (e.g., Verified Credentials)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching at the collegiate level

• Knowledge of accreditation standards and clinical compliance protocols

• Bilingual proficiency and/or experience working with diverse student populations
