Clinical Faculty Coordinator, BSN and Direct Entry Pathways, Instructor or Assistant Professor on the Educator Track – Georgetown University Medical Center, School of Nursing. Location: St. Mary’s 4th Floor. Open Date: Sep 09, 2025. Deadline: Nov 01, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The BSON is seeking a Clinical Faculty Coordinator (CFC) for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Direct Entry Pathways programs. The CFC coordinates the clinical education components, reports to the Assistant Dean of Professional Practice and Direct Entry Pathways, and is a key member of the pre-licensure pathways leadership team. The PD works collaboratively with other program directors on the clinical curriculum. This faculty position is held on the educator track (non-tenure) with rank commensurate with criteria representing instructor expectations. Responsibilities

Clinical Coordination (up to 70%) Planning and coordination of all aspects of program clinical operations. Ensuring integration of GUSON values including antiracism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Coordination and implementation of the clinical curriculum to reflect current practice guidelines and standards. Ensuring accreditation requirements are met relative to clinical education and monitoring clinical education outcomes. Selection, onboarding, supervision, and evaluation of clinical faculty. Ensuring that established clinical criteria are met by each student. Carrying out responsibilities to ensure that the curriculum demonstrates that required clinical competencies are met. With the Program Directors, responsible for all evaluation of clinical instruction. Leading clinical remediation with individual students as indicated by performance. Ensuring adequate clinical faculty coverage each semester and making cost-effective, appropriate faculty-student assignments based on State Boards of Nursing requirements. Responsible for student clinical orientation and onboarding. Updating and maintaining the clinical aspects of student handbooks and preceptor/clinical faculty handbooks in collaboration with the Program Director. Enhancing the program’s reputation and visibility through engagement in relevant professional activities. Teaching (up to 30%) Teaches in areas of expertise as needed, including simulation and clinical skills. Participates in curriculum and course development. Develops and implements innovative teaching strategies. Scholarship & Service (5-10%) Engagement in scholarly activities such as research, publications and grant writing as appropriate. Participates in program, school, university, and other committees as required. Participates in relevant program and SON student events as required. Minimum qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing or related field. Eligible for an unencumbered RN license in the District of Columbia. Prior experience with clinical education in undergraduate or graduate nursing education. Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills. About the program and values
