Senior Analyst, Pricing
to join our Merchandising team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will support the development and execution of pricing strategies across a portfolio of markets and items totaling approximately $900 million in sales. You will utilize our state-of-the-art pricing tool to combine cost data, internal strategic targets and competitive data to make informed pricing decisions while complying with market specific regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and drive margin and sales performance. Responsibilities: Own pricing of all national brand products in assigned states, including a high priority market, by executing retails daily, including initial retails Act as a leader on the team by pursuing process improvements and supporting the ongoing development and refinement of our internal pricing tool Work with Market Management, Buying and Field teams to resolve issues and gain an in-depth understanding of product knowledge, market level pricing strategies, legalities, and the competitive landscape Analyze effectiveness of pricing actions weekly by reviewing market level reporting Work with Marketing to determine the items to be advertised by market and the retail pricing of those items Assist with competitive analysis through online research and advertising review, ensuring all pricing issues are identified, evaluated and addressed in a timely manner Develop, review, and document pricing strategies and business rules for assigned markets Own independent side-projects and additional ad hoc tasks as assigned Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Mathematics, or related field preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required 1-4 years’ experience in pricing, retail analytics, merchandising, or financial planning & analysis Demonstrated ability to work independently and own processes from end-to-end Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience using data to support business decisions Proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas) Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting business needs What We Offer: Paid Time Off (PTO) Generous store discounts Health care plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision) 401(k), HSA, FSA, Pre-tax commuter benefits Disability & life insurance coverage Paid parental leave Pet insurance Critical illness and accident insurance Discounted home and auto insurance College tuition assistance Career development & product training Consumer classes Base pay range: $70,470.00/yr - $114,400.00/yr Total Wine & More is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
