Position Summary
:
The Property Manager is responsible for taking the actions necessary to maintain an impeccable appearance for the interior and exterior of all buildings for the private residences in California under the direction of the Regional Manager.
The Property Manager will follow various cleaning and maintenance schedules to ensure that the homes are conveniently and efficiently prepared for the family. The ideal candidate must be detailed, service-oriented, and willing to work collectively with existing staff to maintain high standards of service and the overall efficiency of the residences.
Please note: this is not a position for a residential or commercial property manager focused on leases or full lifecycle management. We are seeking a former Houseman or estate Property Manager with hands-on experience, strong knowledge of the trades, a service/hospitality mindset, and an understanding of how high-end households operate. The right candidate will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves to keep everything running smoothly. Please only apply if you have this specific background.
Position Responsibilities, but are not limited to

The general duty of the Property Manager is to maintain the family's homes and vehicles, always making sure they are presentable. Driver duties for principals and their family, friends or associates as required. Responsible for ensuring that the properties meet the Owner's expectations with a high focus on Owner's desires, comfort and satisfaction. Works closely with the Regional Manager to follow preventive maintenance schedules. Cleans and maintains the exterior areas around the residences and all other assigned areas. Provides help to Housekeepers with cleaning and purchasing as directed by the Regional Manager or as needed. Deliver packages and mail as needed. Performs daily errands for household as directed. Take direction from Principals' assistants when needed. Responsible for routine, scheduled maintenance and physical appearance of vehicles as well as assisting with registration and insurance cards always up to date on the vehicles. Responsible for fueling vehicles and taking the vehicles to car washes as required. Schedule vendors for houses in California. Regularly visit coastal property and assist in managing all aspects, including routine maintenance, repairs and contractors. Will be required to stay overnight when the owners are visiting the coastal property and or for extended projects. This may require a week or weekend once or twice per year. Supervises vendors when in the houses. No vendor or contractor should be working unaccompanied at any time. Reviews inventoried items and purchases of groceries and household supplies to maintain adequate supplies. Inventories, orders, and stocks the laundry room, medications, and pantry with all needed equipment and supplies as directed by the Regional Manager. Assists with receiving and sending packages. Being proactive about problems and maintenance. Informs the Regional Manager of all activities and any needs before leaving the premises. Cleans interior and exterior furniture and fixtures as directed while using only approved products. Power washes areas as needed. Cleans gutters when needed and / or as directed. Cleans windows when needed and / or as directed. Maintain machinery, and equipment logs in Maintain X. Provides weekly approval of vendor invoices received; reviewed for accuracy and according to company procedures. Willing to assist with moving and arranging of furniture - if required. Cleans attic and garage as directed. Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies. Maintains professional appearance. Use and update household manuals regularly. Lift up to 40 lbs and be willing to access roofs, attic areas, basements, etc. Have a basic understanding of property features, including solar and pool operations, HVAC, and smart home technology (including Apple products, Crestron and UniFi). Coordinate and manage repairs, building, and landscaping work performed by vendors. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Other responsibilities
Monitors the proper function of all systems: Computers, wireless access, printers, faxes, TV's, sound systems, AV remote controls, showers, garbage disposals, fans, treadmills, vehicles, and other small appliances Supervises vendors and contractors when doing work at the house(s)

Schedules appointments for service and repairs. Checks the systems of the house regularly. Report problems with the function of systems or any other defects to the Regional Manager. Manages the storage / remote location. Follows a preventive maintenance checklist with Regional Manager. Other services as needed. Profile of this Role

Highly ethical and discreet. 24/7 mentality and work ethic. A keen eye for detail and extensive experience cleaning and maintaining high-end homes. Forward-thinker with the ability to look ahead and anticipate. Team player with a "can-do" and "I'll figure it out" attitude, ability, and desire to be flexible and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Must know how to blend in and be discreet. Must have knowledge and experience in caring for fine finishings, unique surfaces, and how to work around high-end artwork and antiques. SHOULD NEVER use cleaning products that are not approved. Must have high cleaning standards. Must be experienced with deep cleaning and organizational projects. Experienced multi-tasker who can respond to any request in a timely fashion and follow through until its conclusion. Must be able to follow specific directions and accept feedback graciously. Must be able to take the initiative to proactively look for anything that needs attention and work on it or report it to the appropriate party to get it resolved. Should possess excellent communication skills. Work with vendors in a warm and friendly manner while knowing when to question or push back. Must be organized, hardworking, trustworthy, calm, and positive and should be capable of multitasking. Cheerful, friendly disposition. Service-oriented with a passion for excellence. Must be willing to learn new processes and welcome direction, coaching, and training. Proficient using Microsoft Office products. Qualifications

Local to the Bay Area. Valid driver's license. A minimum of 5+ years working as a Houseman or Property Manager in a private residence or luxury hotel/condo setting. Clean driving record. Full-time position, including a willingness to work after hours or on weekends from time to time. Long-term intent.
Longevity in past positions is very important to our client. Must have strong time management and multi-tasking skills. Punctuality and a good attendance record are a must. A polite individual who is flexible, self-motivated, a team player, and energetic. Good grooming and personal hygiene with the clean and proper dress as instructed by the employer. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance. Must be a non-drug user and a non-smoker.
