Target is seeking an Executive Team Leader for General Merchandise and Grocery in Kansas City, MO. This role leads operations, assortment, inventory, pricing, in-store execution, and guest experience across General Merchandise and Food Sales to support store performance and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

Drive total store sales and contribute to profitability through department leadership and team execution. Manage Food & Beverage, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing for all GM areas; lead Food & Beverage and Food Service initiatives to ensure a fresh and safe guest experience. Lead a team of specialists in operations, accuracy and efficiency; enable efficient guest delivery through pick, pack and ship fulfillment when applicable. Plan workloads to align with business priorities; conduct regular check-ins with the team to ensure task completion. Oversee GM backroom and sales floor areas; review reporting, identify gaps, and develop improvement plans. Drive fulfillment and guest promise adherence by leading the Fulfillment team; monitor food safety standards and cleaning routines. Develop and coach team members; establish a culture of accountability and performance management; anticipate staffing needs and recruit as needed. Provide a consistent guest experience by ensuring products are in stock, fresh, correctly priced, and properly signed on the sales floor with minimal guest disruption. Assess store trends, leverage guest insights, and act as a destination of choice for guests; maintain a guest-obsessed culture focused on sales goals. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet guest and business needs (including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays). Lead organizational and operational change; monitor reports to identify gaps and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, ethical conduct, and security procedures; address store needs including emergencies and regulatory visits. Perform all other duties based on business needs as required. 4-year degree or equivalent experience. Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong business acumen. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity; ability to manage conflict and hold others accountable. Ability to relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization; strong analytic and financial acumen. Ability to learn and adapt to current technology; manage workload and prioritize tasks independently. Benefits
