We are looking for the next

Global Marketing Manager

for a well-known association in the DC area. Reporting to the Director of B2B Marketing, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing global marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and growth in key international markets. Ideal candidates have experience in global marketing, digital campaigns (email, web, social), and stakeholder management across regions. Location: this position requires 4 days in the organization’s Northern Virginia office to start. Non-local candidates will not be considered. What You'll Do Develop and execute global marketing strategies tailored to different regions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Drive brand positioning and awareness for international audiences, balancing both global and main U.S. initiatives. Manage marketing efforts for six international events annually, plus global partner and reseller activities. Create and launch targeted email campaigns and digital tactics supporting training, events, and other offerings. Keep website content current, user-friendly, and relevant for worldwide audiences. Collaborate with regional offices and teams (including China-based staff) to support local market efforts. Use digital channels and social media to engage and grow international audiences. Partner with business development teams to generate and nurture leads from international markets. Track, measure, and optimize marketing effectiveness to hit campaign targets and KPIs. Develop messaging and content strategies that resonate across diverse cultures and audiences. Manage multiple stakeholders and business lines with competing priorities to ensure consistency and alignment. Oversee timelines and project execution for marketing initiatives in global markets. The Quals You'll Need 7 years of marketing experience, including work with international markets. Strong background in email marketing, website content management, and digital campaign execution. Solid track record in driving demand generation and lead growth for global or B2B audiences. Ability to handle complex stakeholder management across different teams and regions. Experience running marketing efforts for events, including international conferences or programs. An analytical mindset with the ability to connect data to strategy and outcomes. Comfort working across cultural nuances and international audiences, particularly in MENA and Asia-Pacific regions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal teams and external partners. Familiarity with marketing tech tools for campaign management, analytics, and reporting. A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture goals with hands-on execution. Flexibility and adaptability to work within a unique global/US structural setup. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience.
