Overview

Data Scientist, Chicago, IL: Conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as a theorist and designer. Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software. Develop and deploy predictive machine learning models to estimate the severity of insurance claims early in the claim life cycle using Python, PySpark, and Azure. Improve information retrieval systems using NER, Generative AI (Flan-T5, Gemini, ChatGPT) and transformer-based models (BERT). Research and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) powered LLM. Systems using vector databases (FAISS), quantization, and fine-tuning (LoRa) to improve feature extraction from unstructured data. Responsibilities

Research and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) powered large language models. Work with vector databases (FAISS), quantization, and fine-tuning (LoRa) to enhance feature extraction from unstructured data. Qualifications

Master\'s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent. Permanent US work authorization. Experience with Python, PySpark, Azure, NER, Generative AI tools, transformer models (e.g., BERT), RAG, FAISS, quantization, and LoRa fine-tuning is preferred. Compensation and Contact
