The
Patient Care Coordination Associate
is key to completing essential processes and protocols efficiently. You will collaborate closely with our care team to uphold our organizational vision and mission, deliver superior customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. Support teammates in achieving financial, clinical, and service objectives. Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:30pm (8-hour shifts/40 hours per week). The supervisor will finalize your schedule upon hiring. Flexibility to float to other practices may be required. Location:
75 S Valle Verde Dr., Henderson, NV or 4750 W. Oakey, Las Vegas, NV, with a travel expectation of 25% of the time to other locations. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional service to all customers. Greet patients and manage the check-in and check-out process. Ensure demographic and insurance data are accurate in IDX and update as necessary. Collect co-payments while adhering to all cash handling procedures. Schedule appointments and confirm visit types and primary care providers. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the waiting area, share pertinent information with patients, and ensure all patients are attended to. Collaborate with back-office staff to facilitate smooth patient flow. Address service issues and complaints, escalating to appropriate management or clinical staff as needed. Assist coworkers with their responsibilities, including floating to different areas if requested. Perform other tasks as assigned to support team objectives. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or higher. Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Beginner proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Willingness to travel 25% of the time for job-related tasks. Reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in a healthcare environment. 1+ years of experience with insurance programs and managed care principles. Familiarity with electronic health records. Experience in a medical office setting. Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology. Bilingual in Spanish/English. Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with sound judgment and accountability. Proficient multitasking and prioritization to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Compensation is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69.
