The Mass General Brigham (MGB) Cancer Institute currently seeks applications for the role of Program Director, Breast Medical Oncology. The Program Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and clinical direction of the Breast Medical Oncology program. Academically, they will partner with the Department/Divisional chair to develop a vision that will enable the disease program to become the best in the world. The incumbent will develop and manage a robust research portfolio, inclusive of basic, translational, clinical, and health services. Additionally, they will oversee clinical trials and funding along with fostering collaboration with the Krantz Center and other MGB laboratories. Clinically, the Director will support the disease-specific Clinical Director, ensuring alignment with academic goals. Additional duties include faculty mentorship, recruitment, philanthropic stewardship, and active participation in institutional committees across BWH, MGH, BWPO, MGPO, HMS, and the MGB Cancer Institute. The role also includes maintaining a clinical practice at BWH and MGH. This is a five-year-term position, renewable for a second term. Appointment as a Professor or Associate Professor, full- or part-time, at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have an MD or an MD-PhD, and Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
