is seeking a full-time Transplant Nephrologist

to join an established team of dedicated transplant nephrologists located at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island, NY. The Northwell Health Transplant Institute boasts one of the fastest growing kidney transplant programs in the country which services Long Island and the NY metropolitan area. In addition to a kidney transplant program with nationally recognized outcomes, there are robust heart, lung, and liver transplant programs. The transplant nephrologist will be joining a team of 4+ transplant nephrologists and collaborate with a faculty of over 20 general nephrologists known for its expertise in clinical research in kidney transplantation, dialysis, anemia and hyperkalemia, outcomes research, COVID-related AKI, onconephrology, and glomerular diseases. Additionally, the Transplant Institute currently offers the only pediatric heart transplant program on Long Island as well as an established pediatric kidney transplant program. Transplant procedures are performed at two top-ranked hospitals with advanced surgical capabilities and specialty trained staff – North Shore University Hospital and Cohen Children’s Medical Center.The Transplant Institute has an expansive network of 40+ office locations to enable access for patients close to home.
