DIRECTOR SALES PLANNING
PURPOSE
Lead the future of sales planning at adidas. As Director Sales Planning, you will guide forecasting and strategic planning across wholesale channels, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive performance, optimize operations, and shape long-term growth. This role is central to aligning financial plans with market insights and ensuring adidas continues to lead through data-informed decisions and collaborative execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEAD CHANNEL PLANNING AND FORECASTING
Oversee long-term, annual, and seasonal topline plans across categories and segments, ensuring accuracy and adaptability to market shifts.
DRIVE STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND SALES PERFORMANCE
Collaborate across Business Units, Finance, and Supply Chain to enhance operational execution and profitability.
OPTIMIZE INVENTORY AND GROWTH STRATEGIES
Implement joint planning processes and open-to-buy strategies to support sustainable growth and inventory productivity.
DESIGN AND EXECUTE KEY CONCEPT STRATEGIES
Develop franchise and allocation strategies that accelerate brand momentum and market impact.
ASSESS MARKET RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Translate sell-through and inventory insights into actionable recommendations that inform future planning and execution.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in business administration, MBA preferred
Minimum 10 years of progressive operational experience
Minimum 7 years of leadership experience
Industry-specific experience preferred
