Front Desk Coordinator

As a Front Desk Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face of our practice, enhancing the patient experience through a variety of responsibilities: Greet and assist customers by determining the nature of their visit and notifying the appropriate team members. Perform essential administrative duties to support daily operations. Welcome visitors to the clinic, providing them with information about our features and services. Answer, screen, and route incoming calls efficiently while taking messages as needed. Check in new patients, collecting relevant information for their first visit. Verify insurance details to ensure smooth patient processing. Notify clinicians of patient arrivals and readiness for their appointments. Schedule follow-up appointments for returning patients as needed. Print and distribute appointment reminders and school/work excuses. Make necessary changes to the patient schedule when required. Coordinate payment arrangements and assist in resolving account issues. Receive, store, and manage incoming shipments and mail deliveries. Process payments and update patient accounts accordingly. Maintain and update patient charts and information accurately. Drive internal marketing initiatives, encouraging participation from the entire team. Your Special Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening skills with an ability to understand and process information. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. A knack for building rapport with patients and establishing solid working relationships with coworkers.
