IT Specialist
(IT Department Support) at their
Fairfax, VA
headquarters. Candidates must hold an
active TS/SCI clearance . The candidate must have at least 3-5 years ofprofessional experience.
As a member of the Corporate IT team, the primary responsibility of the IT specialist will be tomaintain, upgrade, and provide support for Windows and Linux operating systems in an ActiveDirectory network environment. The candidate needs to be able diagnose and resolve issues andproblems in a timely manner. Responsibilities also include overall system support includingprinters, monitors and associated peripherals.
Qualifications and Skills Strong proficiency with:
PC HW, Laptops, peripherals, and printers Active Directory administration Exchange Administration Network switches and Firewalls Linux Administration Knowledge of network architectures, protocols, and services (file sharing, domain services, web services, VMWare, RSA multifactor).
Experience building, securing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer operating systems andapplications (Windows 11, Windows Server, Rocky Linux, RedHat Linux) Knowledge of NIST and CMMC requirements Strong work ethic, self-starter, work well independently as well as in a team environment Abilityto interface with end-users, good communication skills DOD 8570 Certification is required.
