Application Specialist / Network Engineer
Our public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Application Specialist / Network Engineer to join our team. This client-facing role is responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients, focusing on Microsoft operating systems, MS Office applications, and help desk support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to resolve complex technical issues. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Provide technical support to clients on Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Serve as the help desk contact for troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems. Configure, install, and maintain client workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Troubleshoot and remove viruses and malware. Assist clients with network connectivity, security, and performance optimization. Perform routine system administration tasks, including user account management, software updates, and backups. Document support activities, resolutions, and maintain accurate service records. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure client satisfaction. Deliver training and guidance to clients on Microsoft products and related technologies as needed. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve client IT infrastructure. Seniority level
