Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,688 per week in Modesto, CA

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Required - Either RCIS or AART and a state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS, State licensed, ARRT Must-Have: - Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures - Call requirement of 8-12 shifts per month and one weekend of call required per month Description: The Cath Lab Tech will provide support for various cardiac procedures. Experience with Coronary Angiograms, PCI, Pacemakers, and Peripheral Aortograms is essential. The role involves accurate monitoring and maintaining a sterile field during procedures. Technicians should be familiar with angioplasty, stent placement, and diagnostic catheterizations. Responsibilities also include hemodynamic monitoring, equipment setup, and maintaining inventory. Applicants must possess knowledge and skills in Electrophysiology Lab procedures. Strong clinical skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and pacemaker insertion are necessary. Candidates should have familiarity with vascular closure systems and transcatheter aortic valve procedures. The Cath Lab Tech will also be responsible for prepping access sites and room circulation. Good communication and teamwork skills are critical for this position.
