Position Overview
The Regional Revenue Manager (RRM) is responsible for the daily revenue management functions of a designated cluster of hotels. This role ensures optimal pricing, inventory management, and distribution strategies are in place to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability. The Regional Revenue Manager works closely with property-level general managers, sales teams, and corporate revenue leadership to ensure alignment between property execution and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Management Execution Develop, implement, and adjust pricing and inventory strategies for assigned hotels. Manage room type and rate category availability across all distribution channels. Balance transient, group, and contract business to achieve optimal business mix. Evaluate and approve group and corporate pricing decisions in collaboration with property teams. Forecasting & Budgeting
Create and maintain short- and long-term forecasts for assigned hotels. Provide property teams with detailed forecast data to support staffing, budgeting, and operational planning. Contribute to the annual budget process with accurate revenue projections and market insights. Market & Performance Analysis
Monitor market conditions, demand trends, and competitive pricing strategies to inform revenue decisions. Conduct competitive set analysis, STR performance reviews, and RevPAR Index tracking. Provide analytical insights and reporting to hotel leadership and corporate teams. Collaboration & Communication
Lead or support weekly revenue strategy meetings with property teams. Partner with sales and marketing on promotions, need period strategies, and distribution initiatives. Ensure alignment with corporate and regional revenue directives. System Management
Maximize the use of revenue management systems (RMS), PMS, CRS, and channel managers. Ensure all systems are configured and optimized for accurate demand forecasting and pricing. Maintain data integrity across systems, including rates, restrictions, and inventory. Support & Training
Provide guidance and training to property-level revenue and reservations staff. Support new hotel openings, transitions, or rebrands within the region. Share best practices and act as a resource for hotel teams on revenue optimization. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, Finance, or related field. 3-6 years of hotel revenue management experience, ideally with multi-property or regional exposure. Proficiency with RMS, PMS, CRS, and BI tools (e.g., STR, TravelClick, Duetto, IDeaS). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into actionable strategies. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Flexibility to travel within the assigned region.
