Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant standards. Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial reports for regulatory filing. Analyze financial results, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Ensure accuracy of reinsurance transactions and reporting related to life reinsurance contracts. Collaborate with actuarial, accounting, and business teams to resolve reporting issues and improve processes. Lead the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare internal management reports and provide financial insights to senior leadership. Support audits and regulatory inspections as needed. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting best practices. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or similar professional certifications preferred. 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the reinsurance or insurance industry. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion). Experience working with life reinsurance contracts and transactions is a plus. Seniority level
