Overview
Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist This role is based onsite in Santa Clara, with flexibility for early meetings to accommodate US and Germany teams. The specialist will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, ensuring vendor payments, customer collections, and contributing to month-end closing, reporting, and reconciliation activities in alignment with internal controls and policies. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices with high accuracy and in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Monitor incoming invoices to identify and address potential issues proactively. Verify invoice accuracy by cross-checking with purchase orders, vendor contracts, and internal policies. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date vendor database, ensuring all vendor documentation and tax forms are current. Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving payment discrepancies and issues promptly. Provide clear communication and updates to stakeholders regarding the status and resolution of invoice-related matters. Ensure proper documentation is attached to invoices for approval, payment authorization, and auditing purposes. Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and vendor statements to ensure data integrity. Contribute to month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations. Assist with processing travel reimbursements, expense claims, and company-issued purchasing cards. Process customer invoices, apply payments, and manage collections. Assist with year-end reporting of 1099s. Participate in audit support activities, ensuring timely responses and documentation. Assist the accounting team with other ad hoc tasks and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn. Qualifications, Education, and Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, though relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education. A minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable / accounts receivable and accounting. Experience working with Concur and SAP S/4HANA ERP software is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external vendors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices. The base salary range for this position is
$70,000 - $90,000
per year, which represents the low and high end of the salary range for this exempt position. The exact salary offered will depend on experience. The total rewards package will also include
