An AM Law 200 law firm that helps businesses thrive, has an immediate need for an attorney with at least three years of quality experience in construction contract litigation to join our San Diego team. Responsibilities
Represent clients in all aspects of construction litigation, including contract disputes, delay claims, construction defects, and insurance coverage issues. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on various construction law matters. Ensure legal compliance in all construction projects and contracts. Manage and oversee complex commercial litigation cases from inception through trial or other resolution. Advise clients on risk management and dispute resolution strategies. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials as necessary. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the bar in the state of practice. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction litigation. Proven experience in civil litigation, construction law, legal opinions, legal compliance, and commercial litigation. Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills. Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Employment type
