Our client is a high-growth, private equity–backed business in the digital product engineering services market, positioned for accelerated expansion through both organic and acquisitive strategies. With ambitious value-creation goals, the company seeks a strategic, hands-on FP&A professional to provide critical financial insights, elevate financial processes, support operational execution, and partner with leadership to drive performance improvement.

The Senior Manager / Director of FP&A will serve as a trusted strategic finance partner to the CFO and leadership team, driving the company’s planning and analytical capabilities. This role will lead the FP&A function and directly support key decision-making across operations, commercial strategy, capital allocation, and M&A. The ideal candidate is a mature, detail-oriented professional with experience navigating complex financial operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

Lead the company’s annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.

Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, operating performance, and M&A.

Deliver timely, data-driven insights on business performance by connecting operational metrics to financial outcomes.

Establish scalable FP&A processes, business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support efficient, informed decision-making.

Enhance monthly reporting packages for executive leadership, the Board, and lenders, including variance analysis, KPIs, and financial commentary.

Partner with business leaders across operations and commercial functions to translate strategic goals into actionable financial insights.

Support M&A initiatives including financial modeling, due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance tracking.

Collaborate closely with the CFO to align financial outputs with private equity sponsor expectations and value-creation plans.

Develop and lead a high-performing FP&A function, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Have:

10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in FP&A leadership roles.

Demonstrated experience in private equity–backed or high-growth businesses.

Proven success preparing and presenting financial reports to Boards, lenders, and investors.

Advanced financial modeling and business case development skills.

Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective cross-functional business partnering.

High attention to detail coupled with strong strategic thinking and sound judgment.

Proficiency in FP&A tools, ERP systems, and BI platforms.

Experience supporting M&A transactions, including integration and performance tracking, is a strong plus.

MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred but not required.
