Base pay range $60.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger for multiple entities
Process payroll entries
Manage payroll accounting operations by processing employee pay calculations, wage and handling deductions, taxes, and benefits
Utilize payroll systems and accounting software to ensure compliance and accuracy in compensation benefits
Manage, calculate, and report payroll taxes and other mandatory deductions and withholdings
Oversee the reconciliation of payroll related accounts and conduct internal audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data
Prepare and post monthly and quarterly accrual journal entries, including AP activity, bonus, and other payroll related accrual accounts
Prepare monthly variance report, highlight and provide explanations for significant variances in operating report
Complete monthly financial close process including bank reconciliations and preparing and posting adjusting entries
Maintain schedules supporting balance sheet accounts, capital schedules, and bank reconciliations
Assist in calculation/review of month end accruals
Provide additional financial statements and general ledger analysis as needed and participate in other projects as requested
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation, and assisting with audit preparation
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting as necessary
Prepare and present budget-to-actual analysis
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
Assist other team members with finance matters as needed
Participate in meetings as required
Requirements
Accounting degree
Proficiency with payroll software system
Detail oriented
Understanding complicated environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
