A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support services in an elementary school setting in Sunnyvale, CA. This role focuses on delivering speech and language interventions under the supervision of licensed professionals during a leave of absence period.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans for elementary-aged students
Supporting individual and group therapy sessions
Monitoring and documenting student progress
Collaborating with speech-language pathologists and school staff to ensure treatment goals are met
Preparing materials and maintaining therapy records in compliance with school policies
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited SLPA program
Experience working within school-based speech and language services preferred
Familiarity with elementary student communication needs
Ability to follow treatment plans and document data accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Elementary school in Sunnyvale, California
