Health Services Appointment Unit Manager
Location: Martinez, CA | One (1) vacancy
The Health Services Appointment Unit Manager leads the staff and activities in the Appointment Unit and Financial Counseling Call Centers. The Appointment unit supports both inbound and outbound patient calls, specialty clinic scheduling, and clinic cancellations. This role offers an opportunity to support staff and patients in achieving timely resolutions.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Possession of a high school diploma, G.E.D. equivalency, or high school proficiency certificate.
Experience:
Four (4) years of full-time experience or its equivalent as a hospital or clinic billing or appointment clerk with increasing responsibility, at least two (2) years of which was in a supervisory capacity.
Certificate:
Within three (3) months of appointment, must possess and maintain certification in the Appointment Scheduling System, or EPIC system.
Selection Process
Application Filing and Evaluation: All applicants will complete a supplemental questionnaire at the time of application. Applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase.
Behavioral Consistency Questionnaire (BCQ): Candidates who meet minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in a behavioral consistency writing exercise. Responses will evaluate core competencies related to the job. A passing average is required to be placed on the eligible list. (Weighted 100%).
The assessments may be administered remotely. You will need a reliable internet connection to take the assessment.
