Coordinating new and follow-on investments Updating cap tables and preparing portfolio company valuations Reviewing quarterly fund financials (compiled by fund admin) Consolidating subsidiary financial statements and supplemental schedules Managing cash flow (preparing and recommending cap calls and distributions) Conducting quarterly portfolio reviews (preparing packages and presentations) Preparing financial statements for employee funds Conducting historical trend analysis and ad hoc research or reporting Providing audit and tax assistance Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting or several accounting courses successfully completed Ideally 2-4 years of experience in venture capital or private equity Solid understanding of GAAP Strong Excel skills (such as pivot tables) Ideal candidate
Have strong communication skills and enjoy a small team environment Enjoy working in fast-paced, “hands-on”, and detail-oriented environment Be a self-starter with flexibility, positive, “can-do” attitude, desire to learn, and a willingness to take ownership of projects Have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities and deadlines with professional follow through Be interested in working efficiently with a passion for continuous improvement Employment details
