About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Venture Services Associate to support the financial operations of venture capital funds. This role offers hands-on experience with fund accounting, financial reporting, and investor relations in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities Fund Accounting & Financial Analysis
Review capital account statements, financial statements, and investor allocations for accuracy.
Reconcile capital calls, distributions, and management fees across internal records and administrator reports.
Assist in financial modeling and variance/flux analysis across funds and periods.
Track key metrics such as unfunded commitments, NAV, and fund cash flows.
Fund Operations & Administration
Collaborate with fund administrators on bookkeeping, investment entries, and expense allocations.
Support quarterly and annual reporting and fund activity reviews.
Coordinate audits, tax filings, and compliance deliverables with external providers.
Client & Investor Support
Serve as a point of contact for accounting and reporting inquiries.
Assist with investor reporting, including capital call/distribution notices and document delivery.
Support investor onboarding and maintain data in portals and internal systems.
Maintain organized client records, including accounting files and compliance documents.
Support ad hoc analyses, special projects, and process documentation.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of fund accounting, including LP/GP structures, capital calls/distributions, and valuations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or VC/PE financial operations.
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and basic modeling.
Experience with fund administrators or VC/PE environments is a plus.
Professional, accountable, and client-service oriented.

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
