Overview
Account Manager - Cybersecurity Sales - Silicon Valley Enterprise role at Optiv. Responsible for selling Optiv security services and security technology solutions to strategic accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area, leading a cross-functional team to build and execute multi-year strategic account plans. Responsibilities
Build trusted, effective relationships with client executives within assigned accounts. Lead creation of multi-year strategic account management plans based on client business, technology and cybersecurity goals, and Optiv capabilities. Build a large sales pipeline within assigned accounts and achieve/exceed assigned gross margin targets. Manage current and multi-quarter forecasts with high accuracy and integrity. Execute with discipline in alignment with Force Management principles (including MEDDICC and Command of the Message). Communicate Optiv’s value proposition related to security services and technologies. Build strong relationships with technology partners and their sales personnel to gain and share leads for pipeline growth. Coordinate communications between clients, technology partners, and the Optiv team within each account. Maintain collaborative internal communications regarding opportunities, requirements, and client satisfaction. Qualifications
Experience in product or services-based sales, typically 3-5 years, ideally in a technology company. Proven ability to build and execute territory and account plans and to exceed quotas. Experience engaging cross-functional resources (sales, pre-sales, and other support). Demonstrated ability to build productive executive relationships within accounts. Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Negotiation experience. History of achieving beyond plan and expectations. Compensation
Base pay range:
$140,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr Total Target Compensation:
$140,000 – $250,000+ Annually. The estimated total target compensation includes base salary and an uncapped bonus plan and is informed by various factors when extending an offer. What You Can Expect From Optiv
